It was terrible. The scarring on my lungs will never go away, and it makes it hard to breathe deeply any more. None of the regular antibiotics worked against the MRSA "superbug". There was an infectious disease doctor who started mixing antibiotic "cocktails" for IV application that finally beat it. The worst part was the parade of friends and family coming to "say goodbye", because nobody thought I would survive!
