Am I certified?
I currently work at a hospital as a PCA, I was trained for three weeks in a classroom setting and then two weeks in the actual hospital doing clinical work. I was trained to do phlebotomy and EKG interpretation during those 5 weeks. In order to move on we had to pass a test in class that included EKG interpretation in order to begin working. Then we had to pass 50 blood sticks where we were successful in venipuncture to stay hired. My question is, am I considered certified in phlebotomy or EKG where I can mention it on my resume?
