you dont need underwear, just dont wear them, that would be hot :)...................but usally i bring double of everything so in this case 14, its better to have more than not have enoughf, same with socks 14 pairs

Serious answer from long travels: days x 1.5 Somewhat serious answer: All of your old undies, and toss them out as you dirty them (good excuse to buy new when you get home) Partially serious: 2 pairs and you can wash them out each night. And you can always steal from your significant other. Joke answer: Undies, I don't have to show you no stinking undies, 3 pairs per day.

5 or 7 but I make it a point to do a load of laundry before coming home...nothing worse than a load or two of laundry than NEEDS to be done as soon as you come home from vacation..(you know Mom's going to be the one who has to wash it..lol)

i would just take a pair for every day. You can always wash them if you need extra.

My rule for all clothes (except shoes of course) is ((number of nights) +1) So I have 1 extra everything just in case.

I would take 7 +2. 7 I expect to wear plus 2 pairs of bikini-style in case I get a 'surprise visitor' (the monthly :( ). I usually wear thongs in case you didn't gather. ;>

Depends where you're going. If I'm going somewhere with a washing machine I usually take about four or five and then wash some mid week. If I'm going to be going out in the evenings I'd take a few extra. If there's no washing machine then eight or nine is good - one for each day and a couple just in case someone steals one (or any other emergency!)

Depends where I am going Beach or City. Beach I tend to wear Bikini bottoms in the day time so only need 7 -10 pairs. I always rinse them at night anyway, who wants people going through your dirty underwear if they search your case.

simple math problem...take the number of pairs of underwear you normally wear in a day, and multiply it by the number of days in a week...so if you wear 13 pairs/day, and there are 7 days in a week where you are vacationing (as there are in every place on earth that i am aware of), then you multiply 13 x 7, which would mean you would need 91 pairs for one week...

Its according to what kind of vacation you are doing. If you are going to a beach, I generally wear my bikini most all the time, when it gets grungy I was it out! So I take about one pair per day, so seven. When I go on a normal non water related vacation, about two pairs per day. If I go on a trip where I will be active and sweating a lot and changing clothes a few times per day, then maybe up to four pairs a day. When I go camping for seven days, I take about two pairs of Patagonia active wear underwear that are easily cleaned out, or scrapped out, lol. They dry literally in just an hour.
